A sampling of life lessons I learned from Jesus, my father (and not one of the divine persons of the Trinity):
- It takes a lot of growing up to be able to play again.
- Character is not defined by one’s successes, but by one’s flaws and the conviction by which we overcome them every day.
- Don’t poke the bear by cutting in front of him on the road.
Hey P're, what time of the day did you take this shot? I'm thinking it's dusk. Btw, I like how the light creates shape on your Pa's face and how you broke another rule by placing him such that there's no more space between the racket and the end of the edge. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're right, P're. It was taken at dusk. Carlo and I just used a gridded strobe to make the subject pop. Thanks for appreciating the rule-breaking composition. I was trying to depart from my usual framing.
ReplyDeleteDude,
ReplyDeleteHow old is Sir Jesus now? More blessings to him. God Bless.
Wait I realized I never called him Sir Jesus, it was always Sir Jimmy.
ReplyDeleteDude, my dad is well. He turned 63 last January. Yeah, you always did call him Sir Jimmy. :)#
